A crew was using cutting torches while elevated 30 ft off the ground in an aerial lift. Some slag fell to the ground nearby and caught the ground surface on fire. The fire was near the base of the aerial lift creating an immediate danger to the crew members working on the elevated platform. Garrett Robinson saw the fire, grabbed the fire extinguisher, and utilized the PASS (Pull the pin, Aim, Squeeze the handle, and Sweep the flames) to put the fire out before it became a significant life threatening hazard.
