We’re in the middle of major upgrades designed to improve flood control for the River Styx subdivision and surrounding parish neighborhoods. These improvements will enhance and replace aging infrastructure to better handle capacity and protect our community.

Right now, we’re installing a triple run of 54” HDPE pipe leading to a pumping station for added flood protection. This work also required removing and rebuilding a levee and two roadways—no small task!
